Louisiana 2-1-1 is an unincorporated collaboration formed under the agreements among the Louisiana Alliance of Information & Referral Services (LAAIRS), Louisiana Association of United Ways, Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, and the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Each Louisiana 2-1-1 Regional Provider is licensed by the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Louisiana 2-1-1 provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all 64 parishes.
